The children have been extremely busy this week celebrating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) through different STEM based activities.

KS2 had workshops to experience finding solutions to what they thought would be impossible. A big thank you to Tina Brinkworth who came in and ran the workshops.

We did many fun and exciting scientific experiments. We learnt about the Engineering history of Plymouth and made our own Smeaton Towers out of spaghetti.  We even made our own Rockets!  We all had an amazing time and many of us were inspired to become future Engineers and Scientist.

They were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone -pupils and staff!
